Public Release!

It’s finally done! This should be the final update barring any game breaking bugs.

New Stuff

  • 6 new levels
    • that means a bunch of new bosses
  • endless mode
  • slowness effect
    • slows you and reduce jump height
    • there are particles under your feet when you’re slowed
    • this effect gradually wears off, but you can also remove instantly it by using charge ability of axe.

Adjustments

Sword Changes

  • reduced range of thrust attack, but increased clash to the same as axe throw.
  • buffed slash damage from 1 to 2
  • slash now is always 1x
  • slash cooldown from 0.6s to 0.4s
  • increased slash animation speed from 1.3x to 2.3x
  • slash now fly towards the mouse position (one slash only)
  • made slash projectile look better
  • raging storm slashes now does 3 damage down from 4
  • raging storm (and 1 slash) projectile now uses a circle collision shape

Axe Changes:

  • Axe Throw can now deal up to 10 damage
    • in practice you will get around 2-6 damage
    • but it can do up to 10 if you hold for like 4.5 seconds
  • slam damage from 10 to 15
  • kick Damage from 3 to 5
  • charging can now remove slowness in addition to reduce damage taken by half
    • actual effect is -5000 slowness, but that doesn’t matter

Mob Changes:

  • player’s push force on captain reduced for no good reason
  • Increased Saloon HP from 50 to 100
  • All outposts now have 30 HP
  • KDS now takes slightly longer to explode (except for jump explode that didn’t change)
  • level3 captain now have 150 hp from 100
  • level5.5 captain now have 75 hp from 50
